Hi Stiffy
What kinds of handle material? Lot's of knifemakers in GA and always on the hunt. You are welcome to bring samples up the next Georgia Custom Knifemakers' Guild meeting. The next one will be in Alto (just up the road for you) at Scott Davidson's Shop - Solid Rock Knives. Go down to the Guild's sub forum here on KNF for meeting details. You are also welcome to come up to my Trackrock Hammer-in weekend after next (info also on the Guild's sub forum.
Be patient on the pic posting thing, as Ray said takes a few posts and time.

Thank You Ray and Carl.
A good friend of mine Allen Surls at WAS Knives got me involved in the handle making.
Only been at it for a couple of months now and really enjoy coming up with creative ideas for handle material. It is my intention to turn this into a full time thing, as i already own a business in Buford finishing wood for commercial and residential cabinet and woodworking shops. Crossing over to a coatings involved profession Polyester for Micarta and resin based products such as Cactus Juice for my vacuum chamber and Alumilite for castings will be easy.
I'm a former chemical coatings rep and love a challenge, have you ever seen Pine cone castings for handles "yes ?" ...well, have you seen a Red,blue, yellow, green, black cones with an outer casting of unlimited color combo's,....I'm making them right now in my garage.
I look forward to meeting ya'll and sharing my creations and i'll be at the June show at the Cobb galleria.
Thanks
Stiffy
