Spring? I didn't know the DDR3 needed a spring. Anyway, there is a Knife Kits Forum here on KNET so if you don't get an answer in this forum, try that one.

For cord wrapping, I think I saw a good thread on that recently. Use the Search button to help you find it .......

The new (yet to arrive) DDRIII-Button Lock version, is supposed to be designed for easy conversion.

It's my understanding that they're still "tweaking" with final production issues. I'm not so sure they've even made a final determination as to what spring it'll require to make the conversion.

I can well understand the desire to get everything in advance and have it all ready when the knife comes out...You may just have to wait on purchasing the spring as it could wind up being a last minute decision, effected by the final "tweaking" (I would imagine it'll be one of the several different springs sold by knifekits.com. The springs they offer are all inexpensive enough that you could always buy one of each!).
