Rasp Hatchet

Here is one I have wanted to try for a while. Two pieces of furrier's rasp with 2 pieces of 1084 bit inserts. Forge welded in coal forge. Head is 4.5x2.5 inch and handle is 9 inch from top top bottom. Might talk Dad into making me a little sheath ....?

Looks good! Reminds me much of the one in Nessmuk's "trinity" of outdoor blades.

Bring that thing to Trackrock and we'll give it a workout on some locust knots. Looks right handy to me Little Brother, sort of like a shrunk version of my Doolittle Competition Speedaxe. I'll give you some pointers on sharpening it for speed cutting, not that you'll need it with Harry around.

Glad you took him up to see Dad. Always a good thing. Hope he behaved himself.
Wish I could have gone.
