quenching

Could someone shed some light on removing damascus from the furnace and quenching in oil expeditiously?

Paul, just don't dilly dally. I try to get the blade from the forge and into the oil in a couple of seconds. It's possible if you keep your quench tank next to your forge. I'm assuming this is the info your asking for?
