Lott, go back through the old posts here on the SRJ forum, and you will find cork belts discussed in great detail. Look under "polishing". |

Hermes refer to the cork belts in their literature as SuperFinishing belts. They are typically polyester backed belts coated with 36 grit cork granules then overcoated with 400 grit or so silicone carbide. |
