Romano knives from Brazil... examples in brazilian knifemaking art

Dear Friends,

My name is Ricardo Romano, I'm a full-time knifemaker in Brazil since 1995. Here are two of the most recently knives I made:

The first knife is a sub-hilt model. ATS-34 blade, mirror polished blade, nickel-silver hilt and sub-hilt, ebony wood handle.

The second knife is a skinner model knife. 440-C steel, mirror polished blade, stainless steel hilt and buttcap, handle: ebony and hypopothamus tusk.

Thanks by viewing,

RICARDO ROMANO BERNARDES / RFA - BRAZIL

Thanks, Ray!

I take your words as a important incentive for me. I'm friend of Guilherme from Rio de Janeiro.

Always is good that my knives are well received outside brazilian lands.

Every time I have a new knife, I will post it's picture right here at this forum.

I'm designing a new folder for Gui right now, as a matter of fact. Say Hello to him for me next time you see him.

You might also want to post your pics in The Display Case, another forum here on KNET. Many more people will get to enjoy them that way....

Amazing, I find myself upset with myself and jelous for not having the skills to produce something so nice.

That goes for all you out there. I'll be there one day, though! It's just a matter of time....got to have patience....got to have patience.....;-)
