Strange Credit Card Charges

Howdy all,

I recently came across knifekits.com and purchased some parts for a knife that broke, as well as a knife kit for my 9 tear old scout.

Everything looked fine until my bank showed a lot of charges from the company, for amounts way over the actual purchase. Strange thing is that none of the charges were for the actual amount of my purchase.

Now I dont want to be causing panic, but with any new purchase from an online vendor, we all run this risk.

Has this happened before, and how is Mr. Alex Whetsell about his repsonse to these types of things.

The only reason that I post here is that the customer support number does not work, as listed in the invoice email, and that is a bit worrisome.

I really dont want to have to resort to having my bank cancel the charges... which is a hassle for everyone involved.

Regards,

lucas

I've made on line purchases there before and never had a problem. In fact, they've always been timely with shipping and the orders/charges have always been accurate. I suspect there is a glitch somewhere that can be worked out.

Got it resolved... I can say that I am now a convert life time customer. I've done a LOT of online shopping, and by far, this has been the best experience, even with the glitch in accounting. I commend them for the response and professionalism with which I was handled.
