Thanks guys. And Rob I thought the same thing but I just don't have the patience to work with leather without the correct tools. It just doesn't turn out the way I want it too. I'd be glad to give a leatherworker near me some business but I don't really know of anyone willing to make me sheaths in my area.

What kind of tools do you think you need to work leather? A punch ($12 at Tractor Supply), Waxed thread ($4), Needles ($3), a knife to cut the leather (really?, you should have that.), and leather (Tandy, shop the sales.)

You could contact Austin Colvin (look him up under the name racjarrett88 in the member list). He's been doing some excellent leather work for other members who are out of state for very reasonable prices. Can't hurt to ask ...

Austin Colvin has made a few beautiful sheaths for some of my knives... he's quick and his work is #### clean and at a price that even I can afford. he's my go to leather guy and i'd recommend him to anyone.

I have to agree with BCROB, that knife needs a leather sheath. Nice looking knife!

Okay I'll look into making/purchasing a leather sheath. I didn't know I could get a punch for $12...
Also, Dan its based off DH-6 so thanks to you for that. __________________ -Hunter |
