button lock - spring rate question
I need to order some springs and have found a local supplier, relatively anyways, but I need to know roughly what spring rate I should order. Spring rate is defined as the lbs required to compress a spring 1 inch. Would something around 5lbs be a good spring rate or do I need something stronger or easier?
