Antique knife research
Hello! I'm trying to determine what kind of knife I've inherited, how old it is, etc. I'm not sure how it ended up in my grandparent's house but my grandfather did serve in WWII. Any ideas or hints would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to Knife Network.
Looks like a really cool knife in great shape. Thanks for the great shots! A bit big to scroll on the forum but much better to see detail than a much smaller one. Wish I could advise on that knife. There are knife guys on this forum that may also be of help if you post this knife there: https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php __________________ Mike |

Hungarian made (Magyar Acélárugyár) Model 1917 trench knife from WWI. Usually, they have plain wood handle scales...no inlays. Germans made 'em too.
