I'm thinking seriously about making it an annual event. At least this year, we'll do it. I attended the show the first year that I was Guild Sec., for the pre-Guild Show directors' meeting. Then it dawned on me that I just as well get a table and pay for the expenses by selling a knife or two, so we got tables for the last two years of my board membership. It's a wonderful exhibition of every thing having to do with knives. Love the town and the area and that southern hospitality. Great folks!

Here's what I'll be bringing to Atlantz
: A Lamb Utility; a Loveless pattern with giraffe bone Two little non-folding pocket knife-sized knives, one with a wharncliff blade and another with a clip-point, like the one here, numbered 001 and 002: http://www.knifenetwork.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=42543 001 has mammoth ivory and 002 has stag A baby Bill's Drop with desert ironwood A Loveless-style Drop with the most beautiful stag I've seen for a while! A Semi-skinner with a Loveless handle with pomelle Bubinga wood, deep red color A Loveless-style Backpacker with super Chittam wood, very nice stuff! A slightly oversized City Knife, called a "Big City Knife" with snakewood If I'm very lucky, a New York Special with stag Mike Smith is working on finishing up a Jody folder, also, which I hope to have there. __________________ http://www.srjknives.com NRA Endowment Member Knifemakers' Guild Member since 1971 "May you live all the days of your life." - Jonathan Swift Last edited by Steve; 06-06-2007 at 11:18 AM. |

The show was great, the weather was great, the people were great, even the traveling was great. Got to see J.W. Denton, that was the greatest!
Lots of knives of every description to be seen and tons of materials to pick from. __________________ http://www.srjknives.com NRA Endowment Member Knifemakers' Guild Member since 1971 "May you live all the days of your life." - Jonathan Swift |

Steve, it was a great show and it was good to see you again. I regret not getting to talk more with you because I like to pick your brain about some of the how to's and why's of knife making.
