Here's the plan...

Some of you might have heard I caught our lovable Bing at a weak moment and acquired one of his knives at a very reasonable price. Well my idea is to help with furthering the Bing legacy by donating said knife to a worthy cause in his name. Right now I?m seeking ideas on worthy causes, was bouncing around the ?Re-elect Obama Super Fund? maybe the ?Hillary for World Peace Fund? or even ?Open our borders to help promote more jobs fund?. Anyway I?d appreciate any input y?all might be willing to give.

Thanks,
Doug Campbell

Hey Doug, I thought you were your most favorite worthy cause. Shucks, I'd kick in to the Doug and Hillary flyfishing for world peace tournament raffle. Man, ole Hillary celebrity guiding and Doug playing fiddle at the awards banquet, can't wait. Bet you'd sell more tickets if you can get Bing to clean the fish.

Congrats on your JS Bing, Craig

Doug, You didn't tell me about playing Fiddle at the awards banquet. That should add a little more value to this fund raiser.

I think the proceeds should go to the "Help finance Karl's round-trip Minnesota/Montana hunting and Fishing Trip" charity.

Karl, I will vote for that one on 2 conditions.
1. You have to take Hillary off of Dougs hands for the Fly fishing.
2. I still get to clean the fish.

Karl, nice looking integrals and a full tang sheep horn knife pics over at BF on that Blade show thread.

No kidding, I'll vote for Karl too if he gets paired up with Hillary. Could you imagine that nagging whine coming from her side of the drift boat after the first five minutes. Good idea though Karl, fish and hunt combo. Good thing Doug has the extra time on his hands to plan out the particulars.

, Craig

Hmmm... Hunt/Fish trip is good but I'm still wonderin where this fiddle stuff came from...

I like the huntin and fishin part and the Karl/Hillary also. Spect after five minutes it'd just be Karl/Karl though Where do I send my contribution for "HFKRM/MH&FT" Karl?

How about the Al Gore guided Elk hunt in Western Montana? Bing donated the knife to pay Doug to take Al on the hunt? I think it is a grand idea...........................

Doug check post#3 by Craig for the Fiddle part.

Now then Eric has one more for the kettle to stew on. We could get Al and Hillary with Karl on the guided fishing /Hunt combo. Doug playing the Fiddle at the awards banquet. Bing will clean all of the fish. Maybe we could somebody to take pictures.

Hmmm, Ed takes some A-1 great knife pictures. Maybe just maybe he's the guy. If Hillary bails out on Karl, Al could just step in and finish up the photo op with a global warming for world peace twist on the shindig. This is shaping up better than I thought.

Fire on the Mountain, get practicing Doug, probably locked out of the bid now, Craig

edit to ask Doug, on a serious note, why'd you pull the ironwood spear point bowie from your test line up? Just asking, I really liked the proportions on that big guy. Thanks for the fun thread.

"edit to ask Doug, on a serious note, why'd you pull the ironwood spear point bowie from your test line up? Just asking, I really liked the proportions on that big guy. Thanks for the fun thread." Just fell in love with that little late comer ivory handled knife Craig and they'd only let me present five
