Anyone know about Paragon?
I've got a auto knife by Paragon. I carry it daily and love it.. It is fairly small
at only 3 1/4' long closed with a 2 3/4' long blade. I have looked at all the Paragon sites and have never found one exactly like it. I don't have a picture but it is gun metal grey and black rubber inserts on the sides. On the blade it says. 'Limited First Production Run.' has the Paragon emblem and USA and ATS 34 on it. The blade is also what looks like bead blasted. |

As a matter of fact, I do have this knife. What do you want to know? It is part of my collection that I am putting up for sale. I've owned several Paragon knives - some better than others. I do agree with you regarding this knife - no complaints. I'll post a picture of it for you soon.

I have two of them. I don't know the whole story, but if you contact their headquarters, they will deny that they ever made knives. The only thing knife related they will admit to are blade making equipment.

Paragon Industries is not the same company as the now defunct Paragon Cutlery Company. I own a couple of their knives and the quality varies. They used to make autos for Al Mar, which were of good quality. From what I've read on another forum, the former owner was of questionable character.
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=344086 I hope the BF link does not offend anyone. Last edited by knivesnsuch; 03-08-2007 at 12:57 PM. |
