Where's rhrocker?

Anyone been in contact with Robert? I've called his work number and left messages a couple times. Haven't seen any post by him in several months on any of the forums.

Hi Raymond! Nice to hear from you. It's been a while since I've posted, that's for sure. I'm still having issues with my deteriating back, they've pumped some more of what the docs call "Hot Cement" into more of the vertebra (It's probably just warmed up epoxy). Anyway, because of this problem, I have to work several more hours a day to get the same results. I don't mind the work at all, except that it's kept me away from the Knife Network more than I'd like.
Thanks a lot for checking on me Raymond, it meant a lot.

I was going to check the post office for wanted posters and such, so it's nice to see you've been found.

Sorry to hear the back has gotten worse. We need you to stop in here and stir up some trouble from time to time!

Robert, Sorry to hear about the back being a problem again but glad to hear your still alive. Take care and don't be such a stranger. I'm heading for bed but now I don't have to wonder what happened to you.

Hi Guys, and Happy Thanksgiving!! I don't know why I received this October of 2010 post from Raymond, but I'll take anything! Looks like i may have a little house cleaning that I apparently missed. I try to watch for that very carefully, but spent the day stuffing myself and haven't gotten to
the forums yet. I'll tend to it directly. Seems that everyone is ok on the list more or less this year, a good thing.
Say Raymond, did your video special ever get finished? I believe Tai was working on it some also, hope he's well. In fact I hope everyone is well! This is a great group of guys and gals. For me, I'm doing the evolution thing in reverse, I've gone from walking upright, to dragging my knuckles, and will soon be slithering back into the water I guess. I can handle it just fine though, but I have curlailed any
hard manual labor like anvil forging. For that I use my say-mak, or wife.-
Everyone enjoy the holiday season!!!

This was a 2007 post - 4 years ago! You really should check in more often than that, Robert!!

Good to hear from you, amigo!

Hi, mesquite man!!!

It is good to know you are still alive, my friend. I have often thought of you over the past few years and the pleasant association we had. You will remember me as the old (real old!) sheathmaker that christened your beauiful knife "The Mesquite Mistress"------------

I am still butchering a lot of cowhide for sheaths, holsters and belts and expect to do so until I age into the triple digits---Sandy
