Great styling, Dave. I really like that because it DOES NOT look like every other folder sheath.

The colors match up beautifully between the knife and the sheath. Nice job!

Dave, I know we tend to get a bit gushy over the work of our friends and fellow craftsman here, but this is one seriously wonderful piece. Paul is absolutely right, you've created a uniquely beautiful sheath -- congratulations buddy
I looked up Larry Pridgeon's web page (http://www.pridgencustomknives.com/intro.htm) to see some of his other work. Another example of a maker that I'd not heard of, but who's making some great looking knives . Dave.
Beautiful sheath work! I like the deviation from the norm as well. Think I saw that knife at the Blade (or one very similar on Larry's table). Even played with it a bit. Definitely not a "pocket" knife, unless you are Mr. Greenjeans. Leans more toward that So. American goucho "cricket" in size. Of course Larry makes nice knives, he's a Georgia boy and a member of the Georgia Guild. __________________ Carl Rechsteiner, Bladesmith Georgia Custom Knifemakers Guild, Charter Member Knifemakers Guild, voting member Registered Master Artist - GA Council for the Arts C Rex Custom Knives Blade Show Table 6-H |
