First folder for 2011
Here's my first completed knife of 2011. An assisted opening linerlock, 3" cutting edge on the 1080 blade, just under 8" overall. 401 stainless liners, 1080 ferric chloride etched bolsters, split back spacer to make the assisted opener and blade stop, desert ironwood scales that I won at the Montana knife show, oh, and a titanium pocket clip.
I purchased a tapmatic 300 from a fellow knife maker a while back............I only broke one tap setting it up, and that was a 0-80 and I had the tension set too high, my fault. I'm thinking I'll be making more folders this year. Kevin. |
