I'm from Denver City just south of lubbock by about an hour. I now live in pampa but swing through lubbock on the way home to see mom and pops.

Good to know there are some of us around here. I know of a few makers around in the panhandle, but they can be few and far between in the South Plains. I've been making a few knives with stock removal, but I'm looking for someone who may be willing to help me better develop my grinding skills and possibly help with the basics of forging.

I'd be more than happy to show you the tricks I've learned for hollow grinding and flat grinding. I'm not saying their perfect by any means but I think if you're new to it I could learn ya some. As for forging I haven't done any of that.
