Yes! Now its starting to look like something!

I'm very happy with the results of my latest knife. Hope you also like it :-)

Its 80crv2 steel blade with a hamone. I know its to close to the edge, i'm working on that ;-)
Brass guard and brass spacer with filed flute.
Wacapou wood handle with a tung oil finish.

Darn these enlarged pictures showin all sorts of imperfections I didn't see before

I like how you put a groove in your brass spacer. That isn't very easy to do unless it's round and you can put it on a lathe, but yours isn't round and therefore you must have done it by hand, am I right Rasmus?

Break those leading edges on the bolster. Your sheath will thank you later.

Yea i know! By what i haven't figured out yet, is how to finish it nicely agains the blade at the top og the guard. If i break it with a 45 deg angle the finish agains the blade Will look weird. I did try thst once. Any idea how to go about it?

What Argel meant when he said to "break the edges" is to take the edge of your guard down by half a mm or more. You can tape the blade and use a file to round off the sharp edge, you do not need to do much more than that, then hand sand with 1200 grit to buff them out a little until they shine again.
