My friend Ron Frazier has passed.

My friend of over thirty years Ron Frazier passed away Tuesday on his seventy-first birthday 11/15/2011. As a voting member of the Knifemaker's Guild, Ron won numerous awards for his artistry. Ron's work is recognized around the world as among the top tier of knife making. Ron was a genuine artist who's medium of choice was tempered steel.

I am sorry to hear that you lost a friend.

From reading the posts it sounds like the knife community lost 2 great ambassadors, with the loss of Gene and Ron.

I wish I could have known them.
