Guild 2011/2012 Winter Meeting Announcement
The Georgia Custom Knifemakers Guild 2011 Winter meeting will be held at the shop of TwinBlades in Statesboro, GA on Saturday Feb 11th. The address is 121 Mt Pisgah Church Road. For the early arrivals, social gathering on Friday night!
Demo line up for the meeting: (added 1/27/12) Handle material stabilization ? Craig Schneeberger John Costa ? making friction folders Randy Scott ? fabricating a two brick forge Dennis Bradley ? filework Standard agenda for the day; the Board will meet at 8 am or soon as we all arrive, followed by the general meeting of the Guild, typically about 9:15 or so. The demos follow, iron in the hat, lunch, scholarship knife drawing and any remaining demos. Please monitor this thread for updates to the meeting. See everyone in February. Sounds great! As long as I don't have to go out to L.A. that weekend, I'll be there. I'm still waiting to hear what the schedule is for that trip, but hopefully it won't interfere. I hate that I haven't been able to make it to the last couple of meetings.

Everything's OK. I just had surgery before Christmas, and I'm just now getting back to the computer. I finally made it through 1200 emails and got the site updated with the new meeting information. Tutorials are still in the downloads section and work fine for me.
