Guild 2012 Spring Meeting Announcement - May 12th

Announcing the Guild 2012 Spring meeting. Mark your calendars!

The meeting will be co-hosted by Andy Roy of Fiddleback Forge Knives and Dylan Fletcher of Fletcher Knives at the Fiddleback Forge/Fletcher Knives shop in Cumming, GA on Saturday, May 12th.

I am making the thread a sticky to keep it at the top of the forum. I will update the thread as to demos/scholarship knife/directions as we get closer to the date.

Our meetings are open to the public.

Demo Schedule:
Andy Roy (Fiddleback Forge) and Dylan Fletcher (Fletcher Knives) will be doing a grinding demo.

Dan Eastland will demonstrate the making of a wooden sheath.

Randy Scott will present a session on Forging.

Scholarship Knife:
Jim Ragsdale will be donating a knife for the John C Poythress Scholarship Knife Raffle.

Directions to the shop:
5/5/12 - having trouble getting directions posted to the Guild website. See separate thread.

Friday - Social:
Andy and Dylan will have their shop open Friday afternoon from about 3pm for those who wish to drop in and visit.
