3rd Treatment....bored to tears :)
Been sitting here with a needle stuck in my arm for the past 2 hours.....and at least 2 more to go, so I thought I would jump on here and yak a while. I've heard a lot of positive things about my new website, and wanted to say thanks to those who have helped me find the "bugs". I believe I've gotten most of them fixed, but if anybody finds an issue, please let me know.
On the subject of the website, I've noticed that the photo gallery page seems to load slow...and I have a high speed internet connection....so I think I will break the photo gallery page out into three different pages. Straight Knives, Folders, and "Other stuff"....hopefully doing so will make all the pages load faster, and make them more responsive. I've also written a couple more articles for the website, and hope to have them up and running within the next few days. The once article, that is complete and ready to post on the site is titled "Using Recyled Materials". I've also started on one I'm calling "Grinder....should you "buy" or "build"? Hopefully the latter will give some insights from my experiences of both buying and building a 2x72 belt grinder. I'm in the process of building myself a new "EERF" grinder, and am thinking I will create an article that where I can show the "mods" I've been making to these grinders, that I believe make them MUCH better then a "standard" build. (buidling them as advertised). After today, I've got one more treatment to set through, then a week off, and then the all telling CT scan to see if these treatments have worked as hoped for. As the Doc gives me more information, I'll be sure to pass it along. Thanks to everyone for your well wishes and prayers! As I've been all through this ordeal, I just wanna get back to the "old me" and feel as good as I used to. __________________ WWW.CAFFREYKNIVES.NET Caffreyknives@gmail.com "Every CHOICE has a CONSEQUENCE, and all your CONSEQUENCES are a result of your CHOICES." |

Glad being bored is about the worst of it . I've also enjoyed your updated site and will be taking some time to check out all the new stuff, especially the articles. Take care, Ed-looking forward to good news.

Made through today without any issues, except the boredom and the "butt-rot" from sitting in that chair!
Got back home to a nice surprise....the new 3hp motor for my latest grinder arrived! Already mounted it, now just waiting for the 29D controller to get here (suppose to be here Friday). I found an outfit with a really good price on the 3hp with free shipping.....I'll start another thread with the specifics. Thanks for the well wishes and prayers! Today has/is a "good" day, and just hope there's a lot more of the "good ones" coming. __________________ WWW.CAFFREYKNIVES.NET Caffreyknives@gmail.com "Every CHOICE has a CONSEQUENCE, and all your CONSEQUENCES are a result of your CHOICES." |

Have you considered writing your memoires while you're immobile? |

Hey, Ed, that's a great idea!! I did mine a few months ago. I used free self publishing on Amazon. Extremely easy and it cost me nothing! We'd all be interested in reading your life story and it's a wonderful gift to your descendants.
