pocket wootz knife

Hi all

just finished this
- the blade is only 2.5 inches..... the handle wood is the same...
- handle is maple burl
- the etch is nitric acid

it was forged close to shape before ground...

Very nice knife! Just a classy piece. The wootz is outstanding, I love the pattern. Some of the best I have seen. Overall a very balanced knife.

I wasn't much for small knives... but I'm finally seeing the attraction... .. (harder to make)

nital sure helps to bring out the two phases in wootz.....
