Newbie - - looking for a home.

I've made a few knives using the stock removal method, bought knife blades from Damascus USA, Jantz, and Texas Knife, but I don't know if I'm ready to call myself a "knifemaker".
I like to make Bowie knives and use deer antler for the handles. If I've done this right there is a photo of one of my handles attached.
I'm here to learn and share what little knowledge I possess.

I would like to learn to forge a blade.

Pretty nice carving Don. I've got a good friend that carves quite well, and she does a good bit of work for a lot of us makers down here in GA.
If you are not adverse to traveling and camping (motels are available nearby), you are welcome to kick out the chocks and roll on down to Blairsville, GA end of next month to my Trackrock Hammer-in. You can try your hand at forging a blade and get to meet my carver friend as well a great group of knifemakers, leather craftsmen, and others of all ranges of skill and talents.
Check out the post on Trackrock here or on the Ga Guild Forum further down for more details.

That's pretty awesome, but don't deprive us seeing the rest of the knife.
