How about this Big Bear folks?

I ordered it directly from the shop in 2003 and received the knife in the fall of 2006.

It has the following options:

8 INCH STAINLESS STEEL BLADE
ROSEWOOD SINGLE FINGER GRIP HANDLE
DOUBLE FORWARD CURVED NICKLE SILVER HILT
SMOOTH NICKLE SILVER COLLAR
NICKLE SILVER BUTT CAP
BLACK SPACER at Handle
MODEL ?A? BLACK SHEATH

I hope you like it.

Please note that due to RMK's policy of limiting paid option choices to five, this knife can no longer be ordered.

Are there any more modern Bears out there? If so, let's see 'em.

That is just an awesome knife David. Great job of putting it together.

Awesome photos too. How did you manage those great pics?

Thanks very much, Sam!

My photos are really not that great (they're old too), but I appreciate your comments.

I like taking macro closeups to try and show as much detail as possible. Of course the subject matter better be good, otherwise...

Well, just imagine a closeup portrait of Hillary.

Cheers!

David

OMG David! I am glad I have had my dinner already with that Hillary comment. That might give me nightmares

I find it tough to capture the light off the blade just right.

Hi all!

Here's another one of my favourite Big Bears. It also has a handle material that the shop will no longer (it's been several years) accept to use. Apparently it's very difficult to work with. (like me I guess... )

See if you can figure out what the material is.

Give up?

Here's another look:

Still not sure?

A couple more views:

The mystery continues...

Well here are some images of the whole knife:

Careful, please don't sit on these:

Give up?

It's Moose antler.

Cheers!

David

P.S. A look at the two "banned" materials together:
