Joe, Bellingham is in the US just across the border from the lower mainland.
The only maker on the island I can think of off of the top of my head is Harold Moeller in Parksville. You can also try looking on the Canadian Knifemakers Guild Page www.ckg.org Hope that helps. __________________ Dean McKay NT Yard'n Ape McKay With a Strong Hand Last edited by stoneman; 01-08-2005 at 02:58 PM. |

more blacksmiths than bladesmiths on the island , you might be able to make some contact through the Vancouver Island Blacksmith Association.....
only a handful of Masters in Canada , tough going trying to find one to do JS test.......couple south of the line have been kind enough in offering, thank you Mr Bump & Mr Caffrey, perhaps one day soon ! hope this helps a bit Rob __________________ R.Watson B.C. Canada |

You should check out the Western Canadian Knifemakers Association (WCKA). I don't know of any makers on the island but there's a few of us in the Vancouver area, and a few around BC. let me know if you need help finding us!
