First wrap around hawk

This is my latest project i have been working on, it is forged from a bar of 1095 & 15N20 with a birdseye maple haft and damascus cap and butt plate. Sorry about the link but i cannot upload photos from an msn group.

nice job great looking hawk. I make period knives and hawks, and I have noticed on this site, that our stuff is not that popular, unless it is modern or unique.
or maybe I am looking at it wrong, good luck and keep it up.

I like it Robert, Nice job. Kind of wild how each side has its own pattern!

God Bless

I like that hawk too and I am sure I commented on it in the outpost. Thought I did.
I took some time and went thru your pics and your albums. Wow, you have some really cool pieces that I had never seen before. I love that oosic and damaskus bowie. Also the Damaskus fighter with the wrapped handle is sweet. The 1095 and 15n20 looks like you put some hours and love into it. Very artistic flow you got going there with the sculpted holes merging into the blade. That dream knife would be a good one to make for the combat fighter kith...hint, hint.
