While you won't get the excellent results of Coop and other photographers, you can get acceptable results very easily with a scanner if you have one. Roc shared that tip with me and it's made life much easier, I went from taking 30-40 poor quality pics with a crappy camera and picking out the best 2-3, to 1 or 2 tries on my scanner with better results.
