screws & pivot pins

Hey guys! Hope all are well. God is Good! Anyway I'm about to run out of screws & pivot pins for my folders. I bought some at the blade show a couple of years ago & just now starting to run out. Who has the best quality screws & best pivot pins at the most decent price. On some of the screws I bought the last time that have the spline head, the heads are striping out sometimes; not much but every once in a while. I'd appreciate any help you guys have. Talk to yall later, Dwayne

Hey bud. Missed you at Austin this year. For 3/16", I use K&G's or Sheffields, I can't remember. I think K&G had some 3/16" pivots that had 2-56 torx head screws. The 4-40's don't give as much adjustment. I ended up getting a bunch of 1/8" from Reese Weiland. These too had 2-56 screws and I used steel washers from him to back up the screws. Holler some time man. Good to see you!

Thanks guys, Sorry I don't get in here much Don, I'll look at R.B. Johnson. Jason I've gotten some pivot pins from K&G before & asked them if they were machine turned & they adv they were but the ones they sent me were roled. I've gotten some in the past that were machined & they work alot better. Peter, I haven't tried halpern titanium but I might give them a shot. Thanks guys I'm looking forward to seeing you guys again. Not sure when it'll be, I'm staying covered up. Talk to yall later, Dwayne

Halpern has the best prices around to my knowledge. They also are definitely machine turned. I'm not positive but they may be getting the pivots from Jim Poplin. I was informed a while back that Poplin was also making 440C stop pins too, so he's worth a looksee. http://www.popsknifesupplies.com
