I am having a problem on a blade getting cloudy spots, on both sides at about the center section of the blade. I am using 1084 steel ( stock removal) and i am hand rubbing the blade. Up to 600 grit the spot just starts to show. Any finer than that it is very noticeable. I am up to 1000 grit and I want to put a high polish by hand. I don,t know what is causing that except maybe something to do with the type of steel. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. T.I.A.
