Question Abrasives

I am in the process of making a two wheeled, horizontal grinder... which abrasive belts are the best.... soo many choices here.....

I use 3M ceramic belts up to 150, then Norax 100 (220 grit) and 30 (400 grit). Run the finer grits at slow speed if you can. Depending on your application you may be able to get by with fewer belts - if you're just profiling for example, maybe 60 grit would be all you need. I think the 60 grit belt I have is 967. They're virtually indestructible!
