Kydex Press any good

Guys,

is it worth to buy a Kydex Press from knifekits.com
I am about to order some kydex for my first sheath and wonder if I should get a press too.

Alex,

If you plan on making a lot of kydex sheaths, a commercial press would probably be a good investment. If, however, you just make one occasionally, you can make one pretty easily.

Get one or two foam garden kneeling pads from your local garden center depending on how large a press you want, put them between two pieces of 1 x 8 board, screw two cabinet hinges on the short end. Mold the kydex around your piece, put it between the foam pieces, clamp it securely and go get a cold drink.

Easy, cheap, and can be used to wet mold leather sheaths as well.
