liner lock
i know this was answered before but i cant find it :confused: as far as liner lock thickness would .04 ti be ok for a knife with say a 3 inche blade that was going to de used quite often or would i have to go bigger?

If you use threaded stand offs for the frame construction and 1-72 screws to hold the scales on the knife .040 would be ok.

If your question is a concern about the strength of the lock, then .040 could be ok but .050 might be a bit better. There are really a lot of factors that come into it so it's really hard for anyone to say what yould be right on your knife. Build a few knives and find out what works best for you.....
