My latest project

Here is my latest project. It is a 440c blade blank with cocobolo handles and a stainless guard.

Thanks Steve. I am agonizing over that now. The family will be over tomorrow. If one of the guys really slobbers over it I might give it to him.

Whatever you do - DON"T GIVE IT AWAY

Bad form. You have time and money in it. He'll value it much more if you charge for time and materials.

I've given away a few knives, but they were gifts and made as gifts. I did it in lieu of buying something. That's a different deal.

You've made a fine knife, there.

I agree on charging for it. It is my hope that some of the knives I have made will become family heirlooms going down through my grandsons. If I charge it might take the sentimentality out of it.
