Michael Fong - straight razor

Been a LOOONNNNGGG time for one of these.

Told Junko I'd be a quick 45 minutes working on a fixed blade sheath. Well, this was calling so decided to buff the handles out. One thing lead to another... I came in the door and she commented, "quick 45 minutes?!" Yup...knife time means 3X-4X what I say.

Started in on some others:

The bevel from the 5" leaves some to be desired, perhaps a 3" wheel would be nice. Not as thin as I'd like. These are fairly thin at the edge and I'd like to wash that up higher.

This is the thinnest production razor I have.

Will look into some other wheel options. Thanks Jim!

Beautiful razors. Having only made a few, they are deceptively complicated.
