Pattern Weld Hunter

As I walked out to my shop this morning I could smell fall in the air. The days are getting shorter and the temperatures have dropped. Time to think about being in the woods with a new hand made hunting knife.

I forged this with 90 layers of 15N20 and 1084 high carbon steel
Heat treated in my shop with digitally controlled equipment to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain throughout the blade.
Flat grind
Stabilized figured walnut handle
Overall length: 7 3/4 inches
Blade: 3 1/2 inches
Approximately 3/16 inch thick at the widest with a distal taper to the butt and point
The depth of the blade is 1 5/8 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
$175 delivered within the US

I use standard unloading, the most convenient for me, with a large number of pockets. I now have a question, but what about the binoculars that you use? I look at thermal binoculars for hunting - I think it will be very comfortable and cool, it is really good, but I'm not sure that it’s worth giving so much money.

I don't know what you are talking about at the beginning of your post, but this knife is worth what he's asking.

Bruho; you are mistaken if you don't think that knife isn't worth $175 with the nice sheath it comes with. Maybe G. L. Drew doesn't have a name, but I know some makers that you would be laughed at if you offered $175 for one of their knives heat treated in an oven, beautiful stabilized scales and a custom sheath and a really nice Damascus pattern. Just say you can't afford a high quality knife.
