Spike in Internet Fraud

Hey all...

Over the last couple of days, we've been getting a lot of independent reports that fraudulent orders are on the increase. This is a heads-up if you're doing internet knife commerce!!! Check everything twice before you ship anything to anyone that you don't know. Most of the reports are resolving to China IP's, but the delivery addresses are in the USA.

Stay alert!!

We've also see a LOT of overseas spam. I think I delete stuff at least 6 nights a week.

The funniest I've seen though is on the American Diabetes Association web site. The spam engines grab key words and work them into the text, so they got bombarded with posts reading, "Diabetic Girls Are Dying To Meet You".

I read an account about the research station in Antarctica and they sa## that they got spam saying "Hot Girls Nearby Want To Have Sex With You."

Seriously, we've had members on here that have lost fairly substantial amounts of money to internet scams. The world is a dangerous place; keep your knives sharp and your powder dry!

God bless Texas! Now let's secede!!
