cross draw bowie sheath ideas?
Looking for ideas on a cross draw for a Scagle style bowie. 7" blade with upswept clip point and recurve. Not sure if I'm going pouch or maybe snap keeper. I generally prefer pouch styles, but this wider at the front always gives me fits. And it's got a double guard, or a half guard on the top and full on bottom.
Thoughts? Thanks Last edited by Will; 05-23-2019 at 09:48 PM. |

Cross draw that big with that double guard I would do a pancake style snap sheath just in the interest of time and simplicity. Pouch wouldn't work without a snap anyway.

Kinda what I'm thinking. Thinking of leave wings to sort of pouch it, secured with a strap. We'll see...

Or use a stud with a strap from it that wraps around handle back to stud.
