Maverick Hunter Bolsters fit.

I have the Maverick Hunter and the supplied bolsters are a poor fit, they are smaller than the profile of the blade blank, meaning to get them to fit I need to file away part of that metal. Is this normal? Would it not be easier to have been supplied slightly oversided bolsters and remove material from them?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Maybe someone from Knifekits could reply? I would be happy to purchase another set of bolsters if I knew they will be a better fit.

Thanks.
