Blade declares: "Best knives for the buck!"

The new issue of blade is out and congrats to a few of the CKD's own for making it into this prestigious list:
Steve Johnson
Darrell Ralph
Terry Primos

We are very fortunate to have some of the very best as active members in the CKD!

(This was at a quick glance so my apologies if I missed a name.)

Dennis

Yeah Baby!

Thanks for the mention Dennis. Wow, was I surprised and honored to see my name on the list. I knew nothing about it beforehand.

When the issue arrived in the mail, I tossed it in a chair and went back to the shop. Late that night I was thumbing through the issue and saw the article. You can imagine the surprised, wide-eyed look on my face.

Two other CKD members I see on the list are:

- Jerry Fisk
- Trace Rinaldi

There may be more. We're growing fast, and I can't keep up with all the member names.

Hi Dennis,

I know there was a lot of names in the article.

For those of you who pay attention to such things. Perhaps your looking for your next "bang for the buck" knife.

I would suggest to you that there were several makers names mentioned over and over again in this article. HINT HINT!!!!!!!

Most of the dealers interviewed in this article have been around for a long time.

A few, are rumored to actually kinda know what they are talking about.

I believe Geno Denning is a member here as well.

And that Fisk Guy...I'd keep my eye on him, he seems to be an up and comer.

Jerry, I know you and Harvey Dean hardly ever get any press or get noticed. So I thought I should mention your names in the article

Mike Haskew did a good job with the article. This is one I would tear out and put in my research file....I know I already did.

They certainly pick some great knifemakers. Infact, they each epitomize Value. Congratulations all.
