Great Meeting

Just a note to say what a great time we all had yesterday. As is normal, Harry and Charlie hosted a very special day, and I really appreciate their hard work, AND for providing such wonderful weather...it couldn't have been nicer. It is always a lot of fun to see everyone and to be able to share thoughts and ideas, as well as to see the excellent quality of knives being built by members of this guild. I am always amazed when artists and craftsmen (and craftswomen) share their knowledge and ideas, techniques and tips, so freely. There have been times recently when it seems the world is going to hell in a handbasket, but not this group!!! Thanks to all of you for allowing me to be a part of something so special.

Julie and I had a great time also. Would like to thank all the ladies who prepared the food. It was great. Thanks to Harry and Charlie for hosting the meeting and everyone that helped.

It was great to see some of my old friends and meet some new folks. As always, more information passed through my feeble brain than it could absorb.

Thanks to Harry and Charlie for hosting, and a special thanks to those ladies who prepared some of the best food I have had in quite some time.

Here are a couple of shots of some of the gang. Lots of eating, relaxing, and talking knives.

Robert

Thanks Robert. It was a very good meeting. I hope everyone has as good a time as Karen and I. I'll keep a forge warm for you 'Bama Leftys at Trackrock in April.
