Showing off a little - Newest Bowie

I finished the knife itself just in time to take it to the Chesapeake Knife Show in Baltimore last month. I have yet to make a suitable leather sheath for the piece. I figure it's time to show it off anyway.

I'll bring this to the meeting on saturday so you folks attending can get an up close look at it.

11" blade of 1/4" ATS-34 heat treated by myself
appr. 16-1/2" in overall length
416SS guard and pommel
400 grit hand rubbed finish on ALL metal
Primo stag handle

Amazing work! You'll have to show me how you get such a fine finish someday.

That sounds like the makings of a good hands-on demo for a meeting

And want to say posting a picture of your knife here is not "showing off", that is what these forums are for. To show what you have been doing.

And it is more impressive in person.
