I am a sucker for interesting knives...

I have been watching this dagger on JoeSalter.com, a gun dealer who also sells vintage military and some custom knives. I don't know anything about this double edged dagger; the blade is 9-1/4" long and 14" overall. There is a antler crown butt cap the handle is made of brown micarta and what looks like marbled plastic with brass spacers and a brass double guard. No sheath. The only markings are on the blade; JBW; and there appears to be dried oil on the guard - I will know more when I try to clean it up with a little Simichrome and elbow grease. It appears to be a well made dagger - older. Anybody have any ideas who JBW was or is?
