Knifemaker ID ?

Hello all,

Anyone familiar with a knifemaker that uses a double "R" as a logo where one "R" is upside own and the straight leg of the letter is joined together, then both "R"'s are withing a circle.

Friend of mine got a knife and asked me to ID it (I am waiting on photos) its a fixed blade around 7-8 inches long made of damascus (some kind of large random pattern) in a bowie trailing point style. a hidden tang with handles that have a brass guard and butt cap with stag for handle and some black spacers (I can't tell from what material) blade and sheath are both stamped with the logo mentioned before.

My friend was told that the maker was in the American Bladesmith Society - Journeyman Smith he thought, but that is hearsay so it may or may not be true

any ideas who might have made it?

Sounds like one of Bob's knives. His name is Robert Rossdeutscher. Here's his website, http://www.rnrknives.com/
