Photo Contest "Left to Right" - Thomason

Forged integral utility knife by Ken Durham, pinned Dark Ebony handle, OAL 15 ", flat ground, very stout, very sharp. The blade finish is quite shiny (almost mirror) making it difficult to photograph. Lighting was by two 1000 W tungsten bulbs in reflectors shown through a light diffuser material and bounced off white boards strategicaly placed to illuminate parts of the scene. 90 mm tilt/shift lens, Canon 1Ds MKII at F11, 1/50th, ISO 100. Some post processing in Photoshop CS2.
