DIY 2x72 Belt Grinder Video
OK,
the HMG New Jersey Mark II in all it's glory. Even if you already have a tooling-arm-design grinder, such as Bader or KMG, take a look at it, I have some good ideas in there. Viddler is like youtube but just a bit friendlier to uploaders - with 500MB no-time limit, progress indicators . http://www.viddler.com/explore/Rashid11/videos/1/ Edit/Delete Message |

I watched that the other day, your a pretty smart feller.
One comment on your grinder work arm: Why not use the same split hole arrangement for the work arm joints and use a bent over bolt for a handle. It would eliminate the need for a wrench and eliminate the arm loosening up because of the right hand thread issue you pointed out? Just a suggestion, you did an excellent job on that thing. I'll be building your heat treat box here very soon, I had a relay and a PID controller laying around and found fire bricks down here for $1.30 each. Excellent ideas. Danny |

I love it thats a great design, I was about to make a KMG and I will definately use several of your designs. The grinder shelf arm mechanism is genius.
Thanks for sharing. Chris |
