Wootz and Ironwood folder

Dear members,
I want to show you one of my last folders I made. It has a blade from my own made wootz,
goldened titanium liners and goldened screws. Handle material is a piece of desert ironwood which is not highly figured. I thought it suits the blade better. The thumpstud is also made from wootz.

Hope you like it.

Regards, Cyrus

That is a very handsome knife. I hope that some day I'll be able to build a folder with self-made steel too. Bravo!

Nicest ironwood I've seen in a long time. It fits that great blade perfectly.

Im not saying this in a negative manner, but, this knife is very simple. And I love it!!!!!
Nothing gaudy or flash about it! Just a simple, clean lined knife! It is the essence of knifemaking in my opinion! Nice wood, and a nice blade! Very good work!
