Beautiful. I love the way the shading gives it real depth, almost as though it has been sculptured.

Just exquisitely done.
Are they’re any pictures going through the process. Does ideas for the layout just come natural or does much hours of thought go into it? That seems to be something that can't be taught, it must be experienced over the years, to me.
Chris you are one of the finest engravers in the world.

I had the honor of meeting Chris at Reno and he is a terrific person and this is typical of his work. He demonstrated at the GRS booth (doing bulino among other styles) most of the time he was there and he is amazing. He shaded a piece that I brought to the show, I can't believe how he brought it alive with just shading.
