Forced-Air Forge for sale

Years ago, I drove to the Dallas area to buy a forge from Mr. Bob Warner who was healing up after a motorcycle wreck.

I brought it home, dug out the slag, relined the interior with Insulwool and Satanite, and gave it a fresh coat of high-heat black paint.

It has been sitting unused ever since--I never even fired it up (until, yesterday). The fact is that my shoulder will not tolerate hammering steel. I am forced to stick with stock removal.

The forge is from Johnson Gas Appliances and cost thousands when new. Bob used this forge to make damascus, so it gets as hot as you want it to. The burners are set up to create a venturi type burn in the chamber.

I fired it up yesterday and got it pretty hot using very little flow of propane. I ran it for about 10 minutes to confirm that it was working and safe.

Asking $400 for the forge w/regulator and would throw in the 100lb propane tank and all the fuel in it for another $100. Entertaining any offer.

This is an absolute steal for someone wanting to get started forging and/or making Damascus. With the tank this one is ready to go. I already have two forges.
Bite the bullet and get this one home! Forge some knives!
Dave
