Drops

Hi guys. I want to make damascus or mokume divot repair tools for golf. One for myself and one for my best friend for his b-day in early May I've been looking around and I just cant afford the $80 or so it would cost for 2 peices 1.5 X 2.5"- 3". especially since I wont be selling these so wont be able to re-coup any of my costs. If any one of you fine gentlemen have any scrap peices kicking around you could let go on the cheap side it would realy make my day.

The way i see it is if you can afford to golf then you can afford to buy yourself some damascus.

I get out on the course mabye 2 or 3 times a season. I'd just like to have a nice repair tool for those rare times I do get out. ny buddy is a real die hard golfer tho. I'm not asking for anything for free just if anyone has some thing that'd be too small for a blade and could let it go.

I understand where "Bob" is coming from, what size you describe is still enough for a small knife! I'll look around, but: "Beggars can't be choosy" end drops don't have great patterns, (or we'd use them too) Jon
